Found signs pilfered from art education institutions were installed dotted around the Sculpture exhibition. Cheaply framed, they punctured the numinous of the final show with self-referential texts.
Found materials, frames & mounts
Set back from the main floor of the show, on the way to the fire escape, the audience walked through the detritus of my studio. This installation usually this gave a momentary shock of having blundered ‘behind the scenes.’ A gonzo documentary of the show set-up playing in the space gradually articulated the intentional bathos of my show contribution.
