An act of selective amateur repair/vandalism, colour chosen from memory, performed unbidden on someone else’s house.
An action questioning the value judgements implicit in art-school and ‘non-art’/street painting techniques and cultures, and the unresolved tension around documenting and showing outdoors work in an institutional context. An investigative performance positing ‘the artist’ as belonging to neither ‘world’.
